Counterstrain Courses Now Offered Via Satellite
Great news—we’re now offering some of our most popular Counterstrain courses via satellite!
Counterstrain Courses: Traditional vs Satellite
Before we dive into specifics, let’s define our primary course formats—traditional and satellite.
Traditional courses will be facilitated on site at the designated course location. Students will meet face to face with certified instructors for the entirety of the course from lecture to lab.
Satellite courses will be held at the designated course location; however, the lecture and demonstration will be facilitated via livestream. The course curriculum, duration, etc. will remain the same.
Prefer traditional courses? They’re not going anywhere. You will always see one traditional course alongside one or more satellite courses.
How Satellite Courses Work
When you arrive at your course location, the lead instructor will deliver your lecture and demonstration via livestream from our Frederick, MD, or San Diego, CA, location. Afterward, one or more certified lab instructors will remain on site with you to guide the lab portion of the course.
Please note we require in-person attendance for all satellite courses. Your lead instructor will be the only one offsite.
Satellite Course Benefits
This convenient new format provides the same quality education you’ve come to expect from traditional courses. With satellite courses, you can now choose from more Counterstrain courses in more locations to decrease the distance and cost of travel and allow for more flexibility in your schedule.
In addition, we’re now able to reduce class sizes and prioritize the safety of our students and staff as we adapt to ever-changing guidelines for COVID-19.
Note: we will continue to adhere to all personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines. Prior to your course start date, we will send an email detailing your personal responsibilities.
Host a Satellite Course
You can now attend Counterstrain courses from the comfort of your own clinic! Please contact us to inquire about hosting a satellite course for your team.
Register for a Satellite Course
Our updated 2020 Course Schedule now includes all remaining Counterstrain courses through the end of the year.
We’ve marked all satellite courses with a satellite icon and titled them appropriately in our Student Portal. Please be especially mindful of the course format when registering.
